Data
Reviewed 31 October 2026. Written for thoughtaccess.com and for this chalet. Not a template.
Who publishes this site
Thoughtaccess, Steinmattstrasse 24, 3920 Zermatt, Valais, Switzerland. Write to [email protected] or telephone +41 27 967 4418.
If you only read it
Reading these pages identifies nobody. There is no booking engine on this site, no payment page and no account, which removes most of what a notice of this kind usually has to cover.
Your browser may hold two values from this site, and only this site reads them:
| Name | Holds | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
| thoughtaccess_age_ok | yes, once the age card is answered | Until browser storage is cleared |
| thoughtaccess_consent | granted or denied | Until browser storage is cleared |
Both remain on your device. Neither is transmitted to us and neither reaches anyone else.
Server records
The host writes the requesting address, the page, the time, the browser string and the response code. Thirty days, then deleted. Looked at when something has broken or when the site is being hammered. Joined to nothing.
Correspondence
Email is kept while the matter is open and for twelve months afterwards. Telephone calls are not recorded. Nobody receives any of it for marketing purposes, directly or through us.
Measurement
No analytics tag and no advertising tag loads. Consent Mode is declared denied four ways in the head of every page, ahead of every other script. If a tag is ever added it will not fire until Allow has been chosen, and it stops the moment that choice changes.
Legal basis
Consent for the stored answers, under the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection. Legitimate interest for the server log. For correspondence, the steps you have asked us to take.
Who else handles it
The hosting company and the mail provider. Neither is given anything beyond what passing the request along needs. Nothing is sold to anybody.
Rights, and the authority
You may ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to its processing. Write to us first. If that does not settle it, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner is the supervisory authority in Switzerland.
Children
This site addresses adults. Nothing is knowingly collected from anybody under 18, and a member of staff is posted at the only room carrying an age rule.
Revisions
The date at the top of this page moves whenever the text below it does. Nobody is on a list here, so nobody is written to.
